Azərbaycan ilə dünya ölkələri arasında beynəlxalq telekommunikasiya xidmətlərinin alternativlik və yüksək keyfiyyətlə təmin edilməsi, həcminin artırılması və müasir xidmətlərin tətbiq edilməsi məqsədilə Nəqliyyat, Rabitə və Yüksək Texnologiyalar Nazirliyinin nəzdində fəaliyyət göstərən “AzInTelecom” MMC tərəfindən hazırda 30-dan çox Avropa, Asiya, Amerika və Afrika qitələrində fəaliyyət göstərən beynəlxalq səs operatorları ilə ən son texnologiyalar və siqnallaşma sistemləri üzərindən 12,337 ədəd birbaşa texniki arabağlantı kanalları təşkil edilmişdir.

TIER 3 certificate received for backup Data Center built in Yevlakh
AzInTelecom LLC, specializing in data protection, enhancing reliable and high quality Azcloud cloud services portfolio, has already received the TIER 3 design certificate of the Uptime Institute of the United States of America for the backup Data Center, the construction of which is currently ongoing in Yevlakh. The commissioning of the Data Center is planned for the first quarter of 2020.

AzInTelecom LLC acquires a controlling stake in Azercell Telecom LLC
On March 5, 2018, Azerbaijan International Telecom (AzInTelecom), the shares of which are fully owned by the state, and the company Fintur Holdings B.V., which was established in accordance with the legislation of the Netherlands, signed an agreement to sell 51.3 percent of the shares of Azertel Telekomunikasyon Yatırım Dış Ticaret A.Ş . (Azertel), which was established in the Republic of Turkey. Azertel is the sole founder of Azercell Telecom Limited Liability Company, a mobile operator in the Republic of Azerbaijan.

Khojaly genocide
Armenian military forces committed genocides in the town of Khojaly with the population of 7 thousand people on February 26 1992. There were 3 thousand people in the town at the time of Armenian military forces' attack. As most part of the population had to leave town during 4 months blockade. 613 people were killed, 1000 peaceful people of different age became invalid during Khojaly genocide. 106 women, 63 children, 70 old men were killed. 8 families were completely annihilated, 130 children lost one parents, while 25 both of them. 1275 peace residents were taken hostages, the fate of 150 of them is still unknown.
