The Memorandum of Understanding was signed between AzInTelecom LLC operating under the Ministry of Transport, Communication and High Technologies and “Microsoft Azerbaijan” within the Bakutel 2017 Exhibition.

According to the Agreement between the parties, cooperation will be made for application of ICT solutions based on latest technologies with the use of the technical capabilities of the Data Center of AzInTelecom.

Established in December 2016, Data Center of AzInTelecom is the first Data Center certified with TIER III, ISO 20000 and ISO 27001 certificates in Azerbaijan and South Caucasus region. AzInTelecom's cooperation with Microsoft, which has a longstanding international experience in this field, for providing "cloud-based" infrastructure solutions through Data Center's technical capabilities is a very progressive event in the country and regional level.

Thus, the overall objective of the companies is to update information on the latest data technologies and services and to provide information for evaluation of IT infrastructure, as well as evaluate perspectives for cooperation in this field.

Within the framework of potential cooperation, it is intended to further expand the use of digital technologies in AzInTelecom and create a joint Working Group to implement new ICT solutions.
