The number of downloads of the “SİMA İmza” mobile application, developed by “AzInTelecom” LLC under the Ministry of Digital Development and Transport, has surpassed 2 million.
Launched in 2022, the application offers citizens, individual entrepreneurs, and legal entities the advantages of the next-generation digital service, “SİMA İmza”. The integration of artificial intelligence and biometric identification within “SİMA Imza” has elevated the reliability of electronic signatures to the highest level. The facial recognition technology helps to prevent misuse of the application. With the “SİMA İmza”, which is legally equivalent to a handwritten signature, more than 50 institutions have digitized their services, and received access to nearly 150 state electronic portals. Moreover, integration with over 100 organizations from various sectors is ongoing.
“SİMA İmza” has eliminated the dependency of users on service centers for obtaining electronic signatures. The next-generation digital signature can be obtained anytime, anywhere with internet access, simply by downloading the “SİMA İmza” app to a smartphone and completing registration. The registration process can be completed in minutes and involves using an ID.
“SİMA İmza” can be integrated into any system and offers the opportunity to sign an unlimited number of documents, saving both time and costs. There is no longer a need to visit customer service centers or store and archive paper documents, eliminating long, exhausting queues.The “SİMA İmza” is accelerating the country’s digital transformation. This mobile application, within the framework of public-private partnership, not only enhances customer satisfaction but also empowers individuals to play an active role in digitalization.
