Mobile Device Registration System is an information system designed to enter, store and process information on the technical identification indicators of mobile devices used in a telecommunications network into a single basic system.

Advantages of Mobile Device Registration System:

- prevention of import of mobile devices into the country, the technical parameters of which do not meet the standards, have low quality coefficients and emit electromagnetic radiation harmful to the human body;

- stop using lost or stolen mobile devices;

- Obtaining certificates of conformity for mobile devices imported into the country in accordance with existing rules;

- creating conditions for increasing the level of recognition and competitiveness of manufacturing companies in the telecommunications market;

- Illegal import of mobile devices and evasion of payments to the state budget are prevented.

Registration of mobile devices was approved by the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Azerbaijan on December 28, 2011 No. 212.
